Naruto Fan Fiction Ch. 1

Every few minutes that bird would go off chirping, as if to say, "Pay attention to me or I'll make your life miserable"! Which then caused Tsunade sama to yell the same every few minutes the bird chirped.
"AHH! SHUT UP! I SWEAR IF THAT THING DOESN'T FLY OFF, I'LL SEND IT FLYING MYSELF!"
Tsunade was my master and also the Hokage of my village, so I served her to make myself a stronger kunoichi, but I also had the undesirable duty of seeing to her personal needs.
"SAKURA! PLEASE STOP THAT BEAST FROM HURTING MY EARS!"
"Yes Tsunade sama, I'll see what I can do."
What was I supposed to do? Ask the bird politely if it could shut its beak and wreak havoc in another village? I'm sure that would have gone over splendidly. But no matter how ridiculous the matter seemed, I had an obligation to my master that I had to fulfill. I went out onto the balcony that looked over Konoha. This place was my home that I grew up in with friends and family and still I had begun to hate it. I had considered leaving on several occasions, but I had convinced myself to stay for the people of my village since I was not only a ninja, but a medic. If anything happened I had to be there to help. As I contemplated my importance to Konoha, Tsunade sama started another rampage.
"SAKURA!! I THOUGHT YOU SHUT THAT DAMNED BIRD UP!!"
"Don't worry Tsunade sama, I just got distracted."
I spotted a flailing object on a tree branch by the balcony. Of course it was the bird. It was moving its wings up and down continuously. When I got closer I saw that they were angled in a funny way.  I held my hand out to the bird hoping it would hop on so I could inspect it closer.
"It's okay don't be shy, I won't hurt you, promise."
Good job Sakura, you're so lonely you're talking to a bird.
"Ow!"
The little pest was pecking me. And I do not mean that in a cute way!
"I'M NOT FOOD!"
That did it, if the little beast didn't want to be helped; I would fix it up and toss it into the sky before the sucker could bite me again. I snatched the bird up and located its broken bones. I healed it while it squawked in protest. Before it could take another nip at me, I gently pushed it off my hand and watched as it begun to fly. I smiled and waved at the bird, which was only a small speck in the sky. The lucky beast could just beat its wings and it would be out of a village in moments. It had no reason to stay in Konoha. Just then I wished that I could leave the village for a while. I wished I could go and travel and train, so I could get a little stronger. Under the guidance of Tsunade sama, I was sure to become a better ninja, but I needed to test my abilities on my own. That was what I told myself, but the truth was I wanted to look for Sasuke.
Together with Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi (my sensei), I was a part of team 7. Sasuke had left Konoha for the sole purpose of revenge. His clan was wiped out by his brother Itachi. The first day of team 7, was when Sasuke had vowed to find Itachi and kill him. I had tried to stop him from leaving the village, but he was determined to go. I tried to show him he wasn't alone. I even fell in love with him. There I said it! The calm and collected, but brave Sasuke captured my heart. At the gates of Konoha one night, I confessed and begged him not to leave. I don't know what I expected him to do. Maybe realize he had friends all along and tell me he loved me too. But Sasuke never did that, instead he knocked me out cold and left the village. The next day I woke up on a bench in Konoha, my home, where I was born, where my friends and family were. But was home still home without Sasuke?
